Anyone have a lot of very tiny can’t see bumps on their chest? Doesn’t itch just when I feel my chest they are there, also noticed my hands look and feel as if I’m dehydrated.
I also got a bislateral mastectomy in August. Just because I wanted to be the same on both sides. I got spacers. I’m not having them expanded because I asked to go smaller. Mine were uncomfortable for a while. But someone I spoke to got expanders and she said she liked them better than her final implants I won’t get my implants till I’m done with treatmeht. Sometime in the spring
@A MyBCTeam Member well the bumps are dead skin that needed to be exfoliated from when the tape was wrapped around my chest, also I will be getting saline implants hopefully in a few months. The expanders are not comfortable however there are days where they don’t bother me as much. The first expansion was done on Thursday and it was a breeze felt absolutely nothing, I go back on the 31rst for another I’m hoping that goes just as smooth. When are you scheduled for your mastectomy? Is it going to be a bilateral?
Yes, it feels like you have a lot of bumps but nothing much to see. I find my hands and arms look pale and old, I keep moisturising hoping it will improve x
Have you heard about this condition I think it’s called BIA-ALCL or something like that. I read about it and though they say it’s rare, there’s a fb group of women who are ex planting or trying to. It has me really doing some serious thinking about implants. I’m not trying to discourage you, just giving you some food for thought.
My mastectomy is actually not scheduled yet, still have 2 more months chemo. Possibly around Aprill. Yes, I’m doing bilateral because I don’t want to take any chances. I wish you continued good luck with the expanders. I hope mine goes smoothly.
