Have the majority of BC patients been diagnosed with neuropathy by the oncology department and work with them for treatment or their internist?

If you still have the exercise sheet, is there any way to download and share the neuropathy exercises with us?
I think that there is a big audience for that.
I have mild neuropathy in my toes, from the Letrozole and Anastrozole. My primary care doctor gave me a sheet of exercises for it and put me on Meloxicam for pain. I found better exercises online. The Meloxicam doesn't really help but the pain isn't bad. The numbness and tingling is worse. I am pretty much just dealing with it hoping it clears up after the five years on the AI is over.
Neuropathy is very common among breast cancer patients β it affects between 57% and 83% of those who've received taxane-based chemotherapy. So you're definitely not alone in dealing with this!
Other chemo drugs linked to nerve damage include:
- Platinum-based drugs like cisplatin and carboplatin
- Vinca alkaloids like Show Full Answer
My internet diagnosed it but my palliative doctor prescribed the medication I am taking.
This is the one that my primary care doctor gave me.

You can do a search for neuropathy exercises and find videos if you prefer them. The exercises are predominantly for neuropathy in the feet and legs. If you have pain in your hands/wrists you can search for them specifically. I hope they help!
