I've seen several posts where women have mentioned using Minoxidil and that it helped. Talk to your doctor about your options. Perhaps a different AI would make you lose less of your hair or maybe a hair growth product like Minoxidil would do the trick.

Are you experiencing hair loss while taking letrozole?

Hair thinning and loss is a known side effect of letrozole, affecting about 6 percent of people taking it. This can be especially frustrating if you've recently regrown your hair after chemotherapy.

Here are some things that might help:

Talk to Your Doctor
- They may be able to adjust your dose or switch you to another aromatase inhibitor like anastrozole, which might cause fewer side effects for you
- Some members found that switching medications helped with their symptoms

Give It Time
- Some members noticed their side effects improved after 4-6 months as their body adjusted to the medication
- Hair loss may stabilize over time

Consider Supportive Care
- Use gentle, moisturizing hair products
- Avoid heat styling and harsh treatments
- A dermatologist might offer additional suggestions for managing hair thinning

Remember, not everyone experiences side effects to the same degree. Your healthcare team can help you find the best approach for managing this side effect while continuing your treatment.
