I've had multiples of all different kinds of implants. The expander implants feel hard and are uncomfortable. The saline implants can feel hard, especially if the doctor overfills them with saline which is pretty common. The gel silicone implants feel soft and are the most comfortable implants to have inside your body in my opinion. If your implants are placed under the muscle they will feel harder and tighter. If the implants are placed over the muscle they aren't as hard feeling and are way more comfortable. I only allow them to place implants above the muscle. After any kind of implant surgery it will take a few months for most of the swelling to go down and for the implants to drop into their permanent position. It can also take a while when the implants are under your muscles for the muscles to stretch out and accomodate the implants. It can take a year or more for your chest to heal completely and for all of the swelling to go away. With that being said, if your implants feel hard or feel like concrete and hurt you should have your doctor check them out. You could have a seroma or hematoma making your breasts swell and hurt. It could also be lymphadema making your breasts swell and hurt. Scar tissue can cause stiffness and pain. Capsicular contracture can also occur and is supposed to be quite painful, but I think it takes a bit for the body to grow the scar tissue that causes capsicular contracture. Good luck, hopefully it's nothing more than swelling that should subside eventually, but definitely have your doctor take a look/feel to see what's going on.

@A MyBCTeam Member Gosh that is so strange. How long ago did you have them done? I had the saline which is much less natural than the silicone and my breast feel like my original breasts.
