Members shared a wide range of remedies for neuropathy, which for many was located in the feet, calves, and hands, often worsened at night. Several members found relief using topical options like magnesium lotion or cream, Epsom salt soaks, peppermint essential oil in a carrier oil, and prescription lidocaine cream, while others relied on medications like gabapentin, Lyrica, or amitriptyline. A recurring theme was the importance of staying active through walking or hand exercises, and members encouraged each other to explore what works best for their specific cause and body.

I was using Relief Magnesium Lotion 7 got it on Amazon...I feel like it helped especially at night....rubbed it on good on both feet 30 minutes before I go to bed and put thin socks on to keep it there and help absorb in skin...then I'd take off my socks cause can't sleep with them on unless u can ....it helped but not a cure...see if that will give you some comfort

It depends on the cause of your neuropathy. Is it from your treatments? I had the problem in hands and feet and it was from my statin medication. My Dr switched me to Livalo and also recommended I take CoQ10 (weight dependent dose) which is also good for the heart. If it is from diabetes, it means your glucose (sugar) levels are not in control. Check w your doctor. Also a "B" vitamins called benfotiamine which helps the nerves. Gabapentin can also be used. It can be given up to 2,400 mg per day but ip to your Dr again. A new pain reliever that I just heard about was the use of topically applied frankincense oil mixed with a carrier oil (NOT full strength!) I have used the others except for frankincense and am now free of that pain. It does take consistency and time for relief. Hope this is helpful. Stay focused on your blessings and what brings you joy. Best wishes.

I had a mild case of neuropathy in my feet before chemo. After chemotherapy my feet neuropathy has went to my calf’s and hands. Feet neuropathy is worse. Asked my oncologist for a medical card so I can get salve with cbd and thc. The salve has really helped with my neuropathy at night so I can fall asleep. I also use tramadol occasionally if I have been on my feet all day. The neuropathy in my hands are tolerable but have trouble picking up small items.

I don’t take pain meds for management, Lidocaine and Prilocaine cream 2.5% for pain. It does require a script.
It helps my sternum and ribs under the skin.
