Although I am post menopausal I would like to switch back to tamoxifen due to the side effects of letrazole…. Dark mood, joint aches but worst of all hair thinning. I know letrazole gives better protection than tamoxifen for post menopausal but does anyone know the percentages? And did anyone else make the change back to tamoxifen due to side effects? Thanks

I’ve just stopped Tamoxifen because of two many side effects. Three weeks without it and I feel like myself again. Yesterday after a long conversation with my oncologist I agreed to try an Anastrozole. I’m sure there are side effects but I’m trying to keep an open mind.

I have thought about that myself. The risks to get endometrial cancer and an endometrial biopsy every year has pretty much made me think anaostrozole is a better option even with hair thinning. I now have curly short hair.
