@A MyBCTeam Member, Hi, Linda,thanks for responding. I've read your story and your updates. My triple negative lobular BC returned in the form of a rash on left (cancer) side just days short of a year since diagnosis. Scans showed small liver and brain lesions. Had Gamma knife treatment immediately. Had thought I was doing well until the recurrence (10/14). Started Gemzar/carboplatin, now on Xeloda, but only on second week of that (7 days on, 7 off, repeat. Onco is upping dosage from 3 pills twice a day to 4. I see him Friday, seem to be responding, hope he agrees. Minimal side effects except a bit sleepy after morning dose and some neuropathy, which I had before with other chemo. Have not posted for a while because I didn't have much to say, but need to get back with it. Had not heard of Xeloda and just wanted some input on it. You certainly sound experienced with this triple negative journey. I don't feel bad, but this has sort of slowed me down. Chronic and incurable are scary words. Have probably read too much lately. Guess I'm looking for positive input. Sounds like you can give it. Thanks for answering. Hope all is good with you!!!
