My oncologist told me that I may need to if I didn’t get complete pathological response (pCR) from chemo. He gave told me to read the Create X study, which had great results from taking Xeloda. I told him I was interested in taking Xeloda. I did get pCR, so wasn’t eligible.

I took Xeloda back in 2019 at the end portion of my treatment. I had read a study about the efficacy of low dosing on this drug and showed it to my oncologist who is also a researcher in this field. She allowed me to low dose for the first 6 months and if scans(at 6 months) didn't show good results then I agreed to up the dose. Even on low dose my body had a hard time for the first several months while adjusting. But, after the majority of my more annoying side effects went away. I had favourable scan results at my 6 month mark and was able to stay on a low dose for the duration.

Me too. Was supposed to take it. But, no.
