Members shared lots of helpful experiences around finding the best time to take anastrozole or letrozole to manage side effects like insomnia, night sweats, joint pain, and fatigue. Several members switched from nighttime to morning doses and found it helped with sleep and reduced pain, while others found evening or nighttime worked better for their energy levels, showing that timing is very personal. A recurring theme was that everyone responds differently, so experimenting with timing while staying consistent is key, with one member also recommending magnesium glycinate at bedtime as a helpful addition for better sleep.

I was taking mine at night and waking up with pain and stiffness. I know that motion and movement helps with the pain so decided to start taking it in the morning. It made a huge difference because I’m moving around during the day. Motion is lotion.

Well I just took it in the morning today for the first time, anxious to see if it helps.

I take Anastrozole between 4am and 6am, every morning. I take 240mg of magnesium glycinate every night at bedtime and sleep soundly. Hope some of you who are experiencing insomnia can take magnesium. It’s a game changer for getting a good nights sleep.
God Bless all you ladies.

I’m on Letrozole and have been taking it at night. I usually (3-4 times/wk) take something to help me sleep. It did not change anything for me when I took it in the morning, but everyone is different. Hope this works for you…insomnia is the worst!
