My husband has a procedure on Tuesday and I need to drive home.

I w told not to drive right after surgery, with drains, I choose to only take Tylenol and ibuprofen, but no driving with pain meds. I drove through chemo and radiation with no problems.

Nice- keeping you in prayers that his procedure is quick and successful, and you both will be home soon after! Gentle hugs!

I can drive but pain pills don't take 8 hours before

Call your surgeon and see if they can give you the all clear- if not, check with the place that is doing your husband's procedure and see if they have some suggestions. Your insurance may be of some help as well, or depending on your husband's age, the local Area on Aging may have some suggestions. Keeping you both in prayers! Hugs!
