I have not tried the adhesive breast forms. But that sounds like a great option as it will not slip.
I had a lumpectomy and am using those silicon inserts in a mastectomy bra with pockets for them. It looks like a regular bra.

Find out if your insurance covers any of these items. You would need a referral to the mastectomy store from the breast surgeon for them ( store) to be able to bill your insurance partially..

Thanks Sue and Virginia for your reply. I do have the pocketed bra. I think the cup size is too small for the prosthesis. I might have to start over.....I'm determined to get this right!

I use the pocketed bras with the prosthetic. It does prevent the shifting, etc. If I lean over with a low cut shirt, you might see something- but since I don't, I am pretty secure with what is going on! I did start with an Rx with a proper bra fitting, and they let me try different styles on to see what I liked, then they ordered the prosthetic and bras in (only took a few days) then they rechecked the fit, etc. before I left. Since I think had the make, model, and size of the bra I liked, it has been easy to get additional on sale (worked out to about the same as the co-pay). Good luck! Hugs!

Ask your surgeon- I had the single mastectomy and use the weighted prosthetic.

Since I had been overly "blessed" in this area (seriously, I would have gladly traded down to have been blessed with more height- lol!), the surgeon said the weight difference could eventually cause issues with my neck, shoulders and back.
