Are you aware of knittedknockers.org? Free, volunteer knitted/crocheted, lightweight prosthetics. You can request a pair at the website. They are made with a curated list of soft yarns and stuffed with polyfill that you can customize.

I made my own "knitted knockers" which I call foobs. I got the idea years ago when I read about "knitted knockers" on one of the breast cancer sites. I crochet and I made 2 circles which is how most hat patterns are started, made the circles even in size, sewed them together with yarn, and before they were totally sewn closed Ii stuffed them with fiberfill. I made them in various sizes and thicknesses since different oufits call for different bras so I can almost always manage to look like I have an even sized chest if I want to. They are light weight absorbent, and washable. They tend to work best for me with Jockey bralettes that have a pocket they can be stuffed in. They stay in place better that way.

I have custom fit silicone ones and the bead ones. Nothing looks like real breasts. The custom ones are to perky.
