Has anyone had revision surgery to remove the "dog ears" that formed after their first surgery?

Yes I have. I was concerned about it not looking good and my surgeon did take my input during the procedure and adjusted the one side to my satisfaction. I had my surgery at OSU both times. I am very pleased with the outcome. I always tease my family about my new boob job bc I always wanted a breast reduction. I just got it the wrong way.

A MyBCTeam member shared their experience: "After my exchange surgery, my plastic surgeon did fat transfer surgery to help contour and sculpt my breasts to look more like breasts. I also needed nipple reconstruction."

Revision surgery might be appropriate if:
* You have cosmetic concerns that affect how your breasts look
* The issue causes discomfort or pain affecting daily activities
* You've given your body enough time to heal from the initial surgery

Thank you. I'm 70 years old and was wondering if I was just being too critical of my body after all I have been through. I'm thinking I don't want them in my way when I move, nor do I want a constant reminder of the cancer that disrupted my life.

GinnyGuyer, it was mostly the shape and working around my previous scars. It is definitely much better than before. Also, I’m 75 years old so my skin is not as firm as it was “once upon a time” 😂😂
