Had revision since I opted out of reconstruction. Outpatient, no drain and no pain. Would like to have more removed but will deal for now.

I had my "dog ears" removed this past September. I did not have any drains and it was done as outpatient surgery. I did not have pain just mildly uncomfortable. Good luck!

My doctor suggested this to me today, so I am grateful you posted this, and glad to read that others are happy with the results, as I am considering it. I had a double matectomy. Chemo, then had a seroma infection -- more surgery and a packed wound for five weeks. It left a nasty scar and hard scar tissue. For this hard place from the seroma, it left a dent in my breast reconstruction - pretty noticeable. My doctor suggested two things: Scar revision and fat grafting for the dent. I am thinking of doing it. Still not sure yet. Thanks.
