How many hormone drugs are there? I accept that each body responds accordingly - any without side effects? I've had a hysterectomy also.

I'm OK. Just tired from the bleeding out episode. My breast is still sore in one area and Im still very black and blue from the bleeding out surgery. Feeling blessed none the less. Question now is just about do I take medication or not? I know I refused it after my hysterectomy (because the cure was worse than the disease) when I was 32 but I'm now in my 70's so the question is, earlier was it far more toxic than today or is it simply that we now have more options? So much to learn in order to make an intelligent choice and one I can live with.

Hi Dorothy I too had a hysterectomy. I tested positive for the BRCA2 gene so it was precautionary but I was up and going soon after. Was sore and slow but still going. The only meds I take are my Anastrozole and Metformin (pre diabetic) You feeling okay?
