Yes, Anastrozole can cause high blood pressure, fast hearbeat, slow heart beat, tachycardia, heart attacks, strokes, etc. I don't know where the AI on this website came up with its information, but it is barely scratching the surface on the side effects. I recently made a chart of the 3 aromatise inhibitors and 3 CDK inhibitors since I had to choose one of each medication to take. I went on drugs.com and looked up all the medications along with side effects and made the chart so I could compare everything in one place instead of shuffling through piles of paperwork. If you would like a copy of my chart then send me your email address and I will send it to you.

If you're concerned about blood pressure changes while taking Anastrozole, it's important to discuss this with your healthcare provider. They can monitor your blood pressure and help determine if there's any connection to your medication. Remember that your doctor can help assess your individual situation and may:

• Run additional tests to identify potential causes
• Suggest effective solutions if blood pressure is a concern
• Adjust treatment plans if needed
• Consider alternative medications if necessary

The key is maintaining open communication with your healthcare team about any new or concerning symptoms you experience.
