I have been on a cholesterol meds for many years. It has kept my labs in good shape. I have just begun anastrozole, just started 2nd month. Will be curious how my cholesterol labs will go in the future. Thanks for the info.

I was already taking cholesterol meds before I was diagnosed with BC. I take it three times a week on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. I take Anastrozole every day at bedtime. I haven't noticed any problems. Just the normal hot flashes and some fatigue.

Hi everyone, I've been taking Atorvastatin for years. Long before BC and I get blood work done by PCP every 3mos and since last year I get blood work done by my oncologist. Never have had any problems with cholesterol, blood sugar, or any other changes. In fact my test are usually done within a week or two of each other.

I have been on cholesterol pills for years. Haven't had blood work for my cholesterol since I started Anastrozole. I go to my family Dr. the 11th of this month going to ask to have it checked. There is so many side effects with this estrogen blocker but never thought about my cholesterol thanks for bringing it to my attention. God Bless

No side effects from cholesterol meds that I am aware of. My oncologist is monitoring my blood work every 3 months at this point. Will be very aware of what my cholesterol does now that I am on Anastrozole.
