Good morning Sue10. I'm dealing with osteopenia. I take Citracal and Vitamin D3, which I was taking before I was diagnosed. I'm still on Anastrozole. I was tested this year, which they found no specific changes. Hopefully it's working and my cardiologist results that I'm doing well.

I have recently started having joint and bone pains. I take Anastrozole, could that be the reason? Every joint from my wrist to my ankles and everything in between hurts. It's worst when I been sitting. Will Aleve help?

Calcium, D3 and K2

I have just found out silica is even better than calcium to increase bone density. Combined with other supplements of course: magnesium, d3+K2 and some calcium (only 250-500mg max).

Wow, Kaye2, I, too, have osteopenia. Had cancer last year. On letrozole. Had bone density test last year, too, nothing changed. Just went to my oncologist, said take glucosamine chondroitin. I take 5,000 Vit D daily and other supplements. As starting to ache when get up, but may be the weather? Also cholesterol 230, but read letrozole can make that go up? So taking my cholesterol pills also. Gees....!
