For me, I experienced the body stiffness, I already had the hot flashes, so that was nothing new for me. I take my pill at night, so if there are any side effects I sleep through them. I had a friend who had really bad hot flashes and she switched to taking hers at night and her provider put her on Effexor which helped calm them. For the stiffness I take 2 tablespoons of aloe juice mixed with water 2 times a day and it’s made a world of difference for me. Wishing you the best.

It seems there is a wide variation in side effects with these drugs - so everyone is different, I guess. I take Arimidex at night - and it actually helps me get to sleep since after about half an hour I feel a little funky. I try to walk to help with the stiffness and have this spice blend of turmeric, cinnamon and ginger I take everyday - no idea if it helps but I like to think it does no harm! I do have osteoporosis now because of it, so need to take Prolia shots. However, I'd say my side effects are minimal compared to many:)
