Yes ma'am! Drink a lot of water, up the protein in your diet, do some light exercises when you can and rest, rest and rest some more. Let those who love you pamper you because they want to help and you deserve it . You'll be okay. Just don't over do it. Figure out when you have the most energy and try to do a few things then. Keep a journal. Jot down when you feel good and youfr energy level is high. When it's low, what were you doing that may have made you so tired.. if it gets worse, be sure to let your doctor know.. 5. Ask friends/family for help with meals and daily tasks You're right about avoiding supplements during treatment - some can actually interfere with radiation therapy. Instead, focus on getting nutrients through a balanced diet. Make sure to communicate with your healthcare team about your fatigue levels, especially if it:

- Becomes significantly worse
- Severely impacts daily activities
- Keeps you in bed for more than a day

I start radiation Wednesday. I am nervous about the fatigue. I live in San Diego. I am in downtown. Not sure where you are located, but willing to meet for a walk sometime.
