Second time recurrence after 13 years. Had mastectomy since had three tumors and one was triple negative and 2 lymph nodes positive. Am receiving no treatment other than anestrozol and want to know asap if cancer is returning. Should I have ultrasound, mri, blood test?

Carla it is a blood test
It identifies cancer in the blood. The lab builds a profile based on your tumor or in my case two different cancer types (that they receive after surgery) very simple and non evasive. I was due one August 13th but on vacation so will wait until I get back

I have breast cancer and endometrial cancer and I have a PET scan done every 3 months to see if either cancer has returned. Breast cancer came back for 2nd time last year and endometrial cancer has come back 3 times. When my breast cancer came back it was discovered via the PET scan. After PET scan I had ultrasound guided biopsy on the 1 tumor that showed up in PET scan. Next they gave me a breast MRI which discovered a 2nd tumor.
