For the life of me I cannot understand why slow walking a drug isn't the norm. Why give a woman 1000 milligrams of something if it also comes in 200, 500 milligrams? Hey
I agree with you . I will be seeing my Oncologist soon and I will bring that option. I would rather start low dose , even if I have to take a longer time . I will keep you posted what she says .
Good for you @A MyBCTeam Member !
See, ladies, listen up. You are 100% in charge of you. Never forget that. 🥰
I would love to hear from women who got their doctors to lower the dose and it made that difference in side effects.
I met with Mayo & MD Anderson All reputable places I know. But ALL they kept saying was 6 months Chemo before and the after surgery etc ...They both said This is what is TRENDING, and they were trying to give all the trending Chemo and for MUCH longer times than needed. We found an EXCELLENT Dr. In Phoenix , She agreed I did not need the ALL TRENDING Chemo treatments and be So Aggressive and LOAD me up on what they were Pushing for my INDIVIDUAL Breast cancer. I did NOT do Chemo before ONLY after and we said NO to some of the TRENDING other Chemo drugs. We studied and researched and figured out how and what to do for my INDIVIDUAL Breast cancer. I am SO happy we ADVOCATED for myself...I did NOT need the Concoction of drugs All recommended and I am Now doing great ...
