Following your doctor's advice to temporarily stop ribociclib is very important, especially with low white blood cell counts and concerning liver/kidney values. This medication break allows your body time to recover and helps prevent serious complications. Your doctor is making a safe choice by monitoring your blood work closely before resuming treatment.

Chemotherapy and other breast cancer treatments can affect blood counts and organ function. Regular monitoring through blood tests helps ensure treatments remain safe and effective while managing side effects. Your next appointment in 3 weeks will give your doctor time to reassess your blood work and determine when it's safe to restart treatment. During this break, be sure to:
- Keep all scheduled appointments
- Report any new or worsening symptoms
- Follow your doctor's instructions carefully
- Get blood work done as recommended

Remember that adjusting medication timing is a normal part of cancer treatment management to ensure your safety while still effectively treating the cancer.
