As my hair grow back over the next several months, will the texture change...I guess what I'm asking is...6 inches of growth..will it still look like baby hair🤔🫠 I'm trying to imagine what my hair will look like in 8 months which will make that a year since my last chemotherapy.
I am salt & pepper, stopped chemo in November. The back of my hair is curly, my oncologist said after a few cuts it should go back the way it was, it is very thick. My daughter is getting married in September, and I do not plan to be gray then. Anyone with experiences as when they started coloring again? Still no part or bang yet.
It takes a bit of time for your hair to grow back and during that time you may see changes in the hair, especially in the texture. My cousin had chemo 5 times and each time, her hair came back differently and in different colors and different textures. We're all different so each experience is going to be different as well. Straight hair often comes back curly or vice versa. My hair is a bit thinner than it use to be but different styles cover that up. It's gray now and still curly but I do have hair!!
