I have decided that I am going to feel hungry almost every day. I eat a late breakfast and dinner no later than 7pm. I try to eat a handful of almonds or half an apple with a little bit of peanut butter when I have to have something crunchy. I have lost about 10lbs. while taking tamoxifen. It's not easy but I keep at it.

Hello Barbara66. I have often thought about what happens to your body after the 5 years. I have often read about it. I have an appointment soon with my oncologist. I'm definitely going to talk about this. Every individual is different and there are the side effects to think about too. So far I haven't had any bad side effects since I been taking Anastrozole and trying to keep my weight which is still at 135lbs. Exercise and meditation has really helped me. I thank God daily. Thank you for sharing. ๐๐๐น

I really don't have the answer. After women are done taking these hormone blockers they need to somehow lose the weight they gained.
