I have loads of arthritis (trauma related, which is doctor speak for "too many broken bones"- lol). And during chemo when I had meds to stimulate the bone marrow to produce more white blood cells- super ouch! Heat is my go-to, I love my heated throw (like an electric blanket but perfectly sized for my recliner). I would take my OTC pain meds, crank it up, take a hot shower put the cozy jammies on, and jump under the all-over toastiness! Between the meds and heat, I felt much better!
