Hi ladies I have tried all 3 aromatase inhibitor’s. Starting on anastrozole and stopped due to side effects. Then tried Letrozole and that was even worse. My PCP is an integrative physician. She will encourage changes to diet, lifestyle, etc. before going the Rx route. When chemo was recommended- she ran a complete nutrition panel to make sure I was in the best place before starting chemo, and a genetic tests to see if I was at risk for anything else, since the oncologist said it wasn't necessary as they haven't id'd a genetic link for HER2+, and I don't have any family history.

She owns the practice, and does the clinical end of things, but she has other service providers in the building you can make appts with, including Yoga, Therapeutic Massage. Reiki, Nutrition and Life Coaching, Integrative Energy Medicine, and Functional Testing/Therapeutic Exercise. She charges a "membership fee" based on age, and because of that, she really takes her time with you- an appt generally runs about an hour. She is a bit believer in trying to determine and address the root cause of a problem, vs treating whatever symptoms pop up. I wish you luck in your search! Hugs!

I was diagnosed with plantar fasciitas almost 20 years ago. It's been pretty much under control since I recovered after the original diagnosis and I'm very careful about the shoes I wear now. I have noticed since developing neuropathy in my feet and toes during my first round of chemo that I will get cramps and muscle spasms in my feet which feel similar to what I remember the plantar fasciitas feeling like. Fortunately if I rub the cramped/spasming part of my foot when it's happening it will go away in a few minutes. It seems to happen on days when I've been on my feet a lot or when I've had to drive long distances.

I was diagnosed with stage 3 grade 3. It has been 16 month since cancer was removed, I have only taken DIM and started them around 3 month ago. So far all is good.

Thinking of seeing a holistic Dr.

As far as natural estrogen blockers I only know of 2: French grape seed extract and DIM. I’m not sure what dosage is required. Hopefully someone with a good “natural” Dr can tell us.
