It is my understanding that radiation is for local protection to kill any cancer at the site of the tumor (after surgery) and then the AIs are to prevent any new cancers from forming and growing. All the Aromatase Inhibitors do is reduce the hormones in our bodies. The hormones that can cause cancer to form and grow. Even if we've gone through menopause, our bodies still product female hormones. One of the primary places is in our fat. Unfortunately, if you listen to the medical professions being fat leads to everything. Annoying but true.

Did I read your question wrong.? No radiation if you take the AI but if you don't take the AI then its radiation?

If I was given a choice between radiation or an AI I would choose radiation in a heartbeat.
