Also, during COVID, a lot of mammos and screenings were cancelled (they were classified as "elective procedures", only those that had a suspected issue were getting scheduled as "diagnostic". Once vaccinations were in place, and case numbers came down, mammos etc. were picked back up. So there may be a correlation in a jump in the numbers, just because there were so many more screenings to get scheduled to make up for that period of time where none were getting done. Out our way, the diagnostic center extended hours to try to get things caught up. I would want to see all the variables looked at before I would determine the correlation was causation.

I doubt very seriously that we will read anything about the two being connected because of big pharma and the government. In 2006, I had a stage I lump removed, took Tamoxifen and radiation. All clear. When the last mammo showed two different types of cancer in the breasts, my oncologist and my surgical oncologist (both of whom I had in 2006) were surprised. One said he had never seen this before, and one said it was extremely rare. When I went in for my pre-op, the nurse told me that ever since the Covid shot, the numbers of recurrent cases has skyrocketed. However, we will never know the truth.
