My surgeon used surgical glue to close the top layer of my incisions. Because of movement, the one under my arm where I had the sentinel lymph node biopsy the glue came off before the rest. Because of that the scar is a little thicker. It aches once in a while but really isn't a problem. I had surgery on Dec. 8 of 2023. It takes a while for nerves to heal.

I had lumpectomy and nodes removed. My arm hurt so bad it was severe. Then I got gapapentin(sp). And so hydroco ne when the pain gets really bad again. The gabapentin has helped a lot. On my 15 th out of 30 radiations. Skin is holding up well and not really very sore. Just my arm and underarm is what was really bad But better now. God is good 👍

like lymphedema can show up anywhere. Probably.

It’s a dull ache - like a swollen node or something. Think I had it after the surgery. The MRI for the left node was ok and I have no cancer on my left breast.. this dull ache comes and goes and sometimes lingers for couple of days. Started doing arm exercises to see if it goes away. It was a similar ache I got after I received Covid vaccine couple of years ago.. planning to ask my breast surgeon when I see her in April..
