Actually fat grafting is often used in conjunction with implants, to even out the appearance. My PS says after my exchange surgery I will heal for about a year and then see if any fat grafting is warranted to smooth out “rippling” I am having my implant prepectoral, or above the muscle, for various reasons, and the edges of the implant tend to show using this approach. Apparently fat grafting can help this.
Well one thing Correen the women here usually do give both views on just about everything. I hope women who have experienced what you are asking chime in to let you know.
I'm having flat closure. Fat grafting would be used in concave areas.
I agree, but people to tend to post more negative experiences rather than positive. Just trying to research both sides to make a more educated decision.
Are you talking about adding fat to the top of the breasts for reconstruction? I have had no problems. The implants stay cold. You can tell the are not part of your body. I dress in layers now.
