We are all different, but I am still working FT at age 68 and envision this being the case for the next4-5 years. However, big lifestyle changes to manage the side effects, so not easy, but certainly manageable on most levels.

Thanks everyone this helped. I see the oncologist Thursday and already have found out from my nurse navigator that oncotype dx is only a 10. I am 95% er and 95% pr stage 1 idc. I already suffer with osteoarthritis joint pain. Certain days I have a hard time walking. Since getting off the hrt I've had very frequent hot flashes. I already describe my hip pain as deep down bone pain so I have much hate toward the I think she said her plan was arimedex to give me. I suffer from ptsd so well my moods can vary. This is all before I start arimedex. Yikes

You shone able to work with this treatment. If your side effects get too bad, there are several options to try. My first medication was hard after appearing in month 9. Me Doctor changed my medication and I have been good since. Let me be clear. I still have some bone pain, some sleep issues but it all comes and goes.
