I have significant ripples after my nipple sparing double mastectomy, I have Natrelle silicone high profile (looks like two melons) breast implants over the muscle. I’m left with severe rippling, and the doctors keep putting in a bigger, implant, telling me that will make the difference. However, that was not the issue. they’re too large and have severe ripples. Thank you for your response. I’m looking at fat grafting and some kind of mesh to put on my upper pole to hopefully camouflage for the rippling with anew implant. This doctor said he likes mentor boost implants over the Natrelle inspira implants . I don’t know which way to go & ever doctor has a different opinion.
I just want to have a better result, and not a mess, I would also like to be smaller, but the last 2 doctors keep going bigger, telling me it will improve the rippling because it’s the skin. I’ve now learned it’s the implant showing through & not the skin.
Sorry you are going through this! I have a tissue expander placed above the muscle. My plastic surgeon warned me of the possibility of rippling (which my expander definitely shows) and said after my exchange for the implant, if the rippling bothers me he could do fat grafting to smooth it out. I know several ladies who have gone through many revisions to get what they want, you are not alone! 💕
