Has anyone been diagnosed with paraneoplastic syndrome? Its when ypur immune system attacks other tissues while defending against cancer. I was dagnosed with paraneoplastic syndrome of the central nervous system and was wondering if anyone has been treated for that.
@A MyBCTeam Member I got that diagnosis Mayo Clinic. I live in the Chicago area, I was hoping I’d find a local physician to treat me rather than make the trip back to Mayo. It’s pretty rare, so far I haven’t been able to find much information on it. Thank you for the link, I do appreciate it!

I believe that’s what my friend’s mom had. She had treatments where her blood was run through a machine that cleaned it.
What are the specific symptoms?
I have come to the same conclusion. I will never get my old normal back but I refuse to be a cancer victim either. I am building new memories everyday and trying to not let the everyday pain stop me from living.
