Ok, this is trivial, but I have to ask. Are the blondes out there bleaching their hair? I'm afraid of the chemicals, but I'm so grey, it is really getting me down. I know they found no correlation, but sometimes they are wrong....

True friends will love you for who you are. THey love your smile, wit, generousity and heart. IF they only love me for my hairstyle, etc. then i probably don't need them im my life anway. Cancer is a huge reality check as to what is important.

@A MyBCTeam Member - I see no reason to mess with what I have. At 54, it's got some grey in it but I don't mind.
It goes well with who I am--just like my decision to refuse reconstruction and live fabulously flat, 24/7.

@A MyBCTeam Member - I agree with you. The right style and cut make all the difference. I have a sassy short cut and it makes me look much younger. I also avoid drab, dowdy, frumpy clothes as much as I can and that also makes a HUGE difference. Those kids of clothes are reserved for slumming around the house (sweats, oversized Ts, etc).

It is a hard decision to make. I have found that it is less the color sometimes as it is the style, etc. I've seen stunning women with grey hair and drab frumpy ladies and it is usually their clothing and cut that makes them appear that way. I am 48 and gave up coloring 2 years ago. It does take a bit to get used to it but i have peace about my decision. Perhaps play with style , make up and wearing brighter colors. For some people that are pale and have light hair, some clothes make them appear washed out.

Got it. I felt like that for the last six months but now I'm starting to waiver. Thanks for your contribution to my thought process.
