Keep up the positive attitude. Joint pain and night sweats, hair loss, insomnia,only side effects I have from Anastrozole. I'm 73 and also above ground!

I'm on antrozole and 50 mg of Verzino. I've been on both over a year. Terrible fatigue and every joint hurts.
Lipodema in the arm affected by lymph node removal. Not fun, but I'm still above the grass!! I just turned 80.

So far, I have been lucky. I first needed a shot of Lupron before going on Arimedex, and my only side effect is hot flashes galore. So, not everyone has horrible side effects.

Update, 6 years later. Still on Arimidex (doing the full 10 years). Still have hot flashes, though mainly at night. Had lots of bone pain, but then discovered Collagen powder. Got rid of most of the pain. Fish Oil also helps.

How did you know when your hormone receiptrs chan ged?

I have been on Arimedex for about a year and a half. The only side effects I have is hot flashes.
