I'm now want to get "fitted" for breast prosthesis and where to start? I want to "try "several types to see what I feel better with. I know some medical supply shops do fitting as well as some special boutiques. Can you drive them before buying them. Flat is what I wanted but I'm a plus size woman and my abdominal girth is a work in process, healthier eating and exercise is in the works. Thanks in advance.
They will help you at the specialty store. There are many options available and you can try them on in the store for comfort. After wearing them for awhile at home, I have decided on two favorites. The key is finding a balance; no too tight that it's uncomfortable but tight enough to keep your booby in place.

We have a Breast Health Nurse Coordinator at my Cancer Center. She discussed madtectomy bras with me and which places were best and which would process them through insurance.
