I never had any scabs. But I am AMAZED at the silcone cream I bought from my PS. I am using bioCorneum. I never used anything on my Node scar or the BMX but when I had my exchange, I started using this cream. It flattened a small overlap in the incision in less than a week. I had a similar scar from the node and it took months to heal. Other suggested silicone strips too.

Vitamin E oil is the best for scars, but you want the scabs to dry and fall off!!!

Thanks @A MyBCTeam Member. I have the silicon strips and they work really well. Really happy with how they have made my sealed incision look, I will see if they have that cream in Australia. I'm only 22 so they said because of my age my skin is very tight and I went up a cup size with my reconstruction and I had a bit of blistering from the skin stretching. The PS registrar popped some and it developed a large scab. Was really upset but it seems to be calming down now.

Don't put anything on them.
