After bilateral masectomy 8 months ago I've found trying to regain chest strength very difficult. Went back to working out 4-5x a week and have been having difficulties trying to strengthen chest muscles. Anyone else experience this? Also never get any muscle soreness in chest since my masectomy. How long before chest muscles regain strength?

I struggle with this, too. I was a faithful cardio/strength trainer for over 15 years. I just can't get back...actually, not even sure where to start. It's just another thing that makes me feel different and alone....

I think if they were weak, you''d get sore.

@A MyBCTeam Member I know I shouldn't complain, but I get no muscle soreness, so it's very hard to tell if I'm working the muscles.

I had my BMX 3 months ago and have been doing a private Pilates session once a week. Last week we did more upper body and I found that my chest muscles have been sore all week. I think part of the problem is that those muscles haven't been used at all!
