I have silicone gel implants and love them.

Radiation can cause various problems with expanders/implants. My best friend opted to have the implant removed and did DIEP flap procedure 4 years later. I didn't have radiation but wasn't a candidate for DIEP so implant was my only option and I am not thrilled with it. My chest muscle spasms all the time and bit doesn't look natural at all. I am 4 years since implant was placed.

I am happy with they way mine turned out.

Mine are silicone gel and I love them.
