As you are in new territory with the SERD, keep in mind that you may still have AIMSS reactions to your muscles and joints and muscles may still give way.
Take notes for any symptoms daily.
Mary, I will be keeping you in prayers that should you go the injection route, that it is not as painful as everyone is anticipating. Tight hugs!
New oncologist suggested SERD injection. It is same family as the expected November, 2026 approved. My 6 week hold on Anastrozole is to evaluate if it is adding to already weak legs. Must be. Knew within 2 hours when I could feel weakness leaving legs. He said injections are very painful.
Anyone experiencing this?
There's Faslodex aka Fulvestrant. It's a monthly anti-estrogen injection. It's typically used for advanced or stage 4 breast cancer or when other AIs are no longer working.
Thanks. Will do.
