Yesterday I had surgery two weeks after my DMX to remove my right implant and flush out the area due to an infection. I actually felt some relief yesterday but today immense pain has hit me like a ton of bricks. My doctor prescribed oxycodone-acetaminophen 5-325 that I can take every six hours for the pain. I felt relief for about an hour after taking the medication but my pain level is back to probably an 8 or 9. @A MyBCTeam Member thanks for checking in. I’m still in quite a bit of pain as I’m healing from a reexcision that’s at least six inches long, plus an infection and also had a new drain put in. I can’t do much of anything and spend most of my days in bed. I have a follow up appointment on Tuesday, so hopefully things are healing well and the infection is under control.
