I just feel like I don’t care what I eat now. I gained 35 pounds since 2006. I lost 35 lbs at one time and now it’s back no matter what I do I can’t drop the weight so I get disgusted and eat anything. I think I handle the cancer by eating. So disgusted with myself.

That is something I think we all battle. Please don’t be hard on yourself for it. If it feels really overwhelming (it did for me after my treatment ended), you can always start with small things. I started by doing just moving more. Sending hugs!!!!

MareEck, The battle with weight gain is a continuous struggle for me as well . Now with Aromatase Inhibitors added to the mix it can seem like a losing battle.
I did some research on " healthy weight" for someone my age and was surprised by what I found.
-The Senior Nuance: For adults over 60, strict lower weight limits can sometimes mask age-related muscle loss (sarcopenia). Maintaining functional strength, bone density, and a stable weight often matters more than hitting a low number on the scale.
@A MyBCTeam Member gave some great tips to incorporate healthy eating into your lifestyle.
I would add daily movement to those tips.
Please give yourself grace and remember each day is a new beginning! Hugs

Make a plan- I started with breakfast, what could I do to consistently have a healthy
breakfast, then I worked on lunch, and snacks. Dinner I cut myself some slack on because I still have to cook for the hubs- and that old dog does not care for new tricks! lol! So my goal for dinners is usually, as healthy as I can, and where I can't- just go with smaller portions, etc. I do not give myself a weight number as a goal- just were my choices at least 75% healthy. Remember, each day we get to try again!
For me, having the healthy breakfast makes it easier to skip something not as healthy later- kind of like I don't want to mess up my good start! lol! Best of luck! Hugs!
