@A MyBCTeam Member ..... I have a chart I made up with all the side effects for the 3 AIs (Aromatase Inhibitors). I took a look and they all have some eye related side effects. Letrozole and Arimadex can cause blurry vision and cataracts. Arimadex can cause yellowing of the skin or whites of eyes. Letrozole can cause eye irritation. Letrozole, Arimadex, and Exemestane can cause vision changes. Exemestane can cause visual disturbances. I would check with your oncologist and eye doctor and see what they have to say. You may want to look up side effects for Tamoxifan. I don't have that drug listed on my chart since it wasn't an option for me, but it's worth a look in case there are less or more tollerable eye related side effects.

I found it from my oncologist that it was feeding the tumor as he put it. So now they want me to take the anti-estrogen therapy, I’m actually scared to do that because I read that it affects the eyes because my brother had torn retina in both eyes. We have issues in our family so I have to avoid eye side effects..
