It's great that you're being proactive about your libido and vaginal health — both are so commonly affected by aromatase inhibitors (AIs) and medically induced menopause, and they deserve attention!

Addyi (flibanserin) is worth discussing carefully with your oncologist given your ER/PR+ status. It works on brain chemistry to boost desire, but its safety profile in hormone-sensitive breast cancer hasn't been extensively studied, so your care team's input is essential here. For vaginal dryness and atrophy (very common on AIs), many MyBCTeam members have found success with various approaches alongside suppositories:

- Vaginal moisturizers like Replens for persistent dryness
- Water-based or silicone-based lubricants
- DHEA vaginal suppositories (some oncologists recommend these)
- Low-dose topical estrogen cream — though always check with your oncologist first given your ER/PR+ status
- Energy-based treatments like MonaLisa Touch (hormone-free option)

The hyaluronic acid suppositories sound like a promising, hormone-free choice — definitely run everything by your oncologist, especially with your ER/PR+ status and current treatment break.

Did your Dr. mention using organic coconut oil on exterior vaginal areas.

The hyaluronic acid suppositories sound like a great idea.( Collagen)

Let us know how they work out for you.

To be clear, the Addyi does NOT do anything to help with physical/lubrication issues—it's a mental treatment that works with your brain chemistry to help with desire.

Thanks, Denise. I'm hopeful for the hyaluronic acid suppositories. I might consider Replens again if they don't help, but my oncologist NP says all the ladies she's spoken with gave been happy with their hyaluronic acid. 🤞🏼

The first few rounds of replense were not good. It’s all good now. Since I am not dry and feeling gross the bedroom is good again. On Kadcyla and anastrozole.
