Keep your team up to date with how challenging the meds are. They can possibly adjust the dose, or even change manufacturers. There have been pink sisters here who tolerated the same med better with a different manufacturer as they each have the core drug-but use different inert materials. And there is a third common AI, Letrozole that you might have better luck with. Keeping you in prayers! Hugs!

I also could not take any of the AI treatment I wish I could have cause here i am a year later, with er+ pr+ in left breast now, they call it a new cancer because her2 was negative this time which I did complete treatment for that. So trust me I know it's almost impossible to stay on those treatments. Of course they want me to try again after surgery. I already know that's a loosing battle for me. Some woman seem to be ok with it, so I tried all 3.. but not the injections. Think about that they can give you an injection I think every 3 weeks but you have the same side affects, it's a no win. Im sorry you can't take them!

You have not said what your symptoms
were with the AI’s or Tamoxifen.

You should research the following:
Lower dose of tamoxifen.
Lower doses of Letrozole and Exemestane. Or continue taking whatever AI or Tamoxifen has the least side effects.

Go to Pub Med and find the trials.

This situation is a “what if.”

You have options now to protect yourself. Your Drs. need to explain exactly what is the % risk of metastatic cancer if you stop all AI ‘s or tamoxifen.
