DCIS and have auto immune disease called sjogrens.
@A MyBCTeam Member, DCIS is often referred to as Stage 0 because of how small it is, and that is non-invasive. However, Tuddles has said her receptor status came back Estrogen 99%, and they were going to do genetic testing.
@A MyBCTeam Member Did they ever do your genetic testing, and what were the results? Being as your diagnosis is at the earliest point- if you need more time to comfortably make your decision, then let them know. Have you consulted with the doctor that treats you for Sjogrens? What stage are you? I had stage one back in 2016. I had lumpectomy with no further treatment. In 2024 cancer came back in opposite breast as stage 3. I had mastectomy with implants and no other convectional treatment. If you decide on lumpectomy please monitor at least every 6 month. I went 3 to 4 years without a mamo and I believe that is why I ended up with stage 3. Good luck on which ever decision you make ♥️
