Numbness developed 9 months after completion of radiation treatment.

As a refresher: I have numbness in my right hand and upper part of my arm all the way to my shoulder. There's pins and needles sensation in my fingers and back of my hand. This was caused by my radiation therapy according to the radiologist who reviewed my MRI of the brachial plexus. There's edema surrounding the brachial plexus.

Beverly. Please talk to your doctor because they need to notate your file, possibly suggest therapy, give you some meds to help or they may want to see you. It could very well be nerve damage from the radiation or maybe pain and sensitivity from a pulled muscle. You will feel so much better if you talk to your doctor or see them. Wishing you well. I'm seeing spine specialist and trying to see a neurologist, but my doctor is also going to speak to my radiation oncologist. I may need to see someone who specializes in brachial plexus. That's where the nerves are not functioning correctly.
