Is it best to take it at night or morning? Take it with food or nut?
Yes, my PCP was the one that recommended the D3/K2 combo. In the winter, my D levels really plummet, so I have to take additional D along with the combo!
Christina the K2 is what makes sure the calcium is deposited into your bones rather than other areas in your body. When I asked my Oncologist about it, she agreed that’s exactly what the K2 does.
I take for 3 months in the morning. First only little constipation, fatigue, sleepy. But now nothing. I tolerate very well.
I opted out of the AI and advocated differently. What works for some doesn't work for others. I take D3 and Super K it definitely helps, I have been taking this since the pandemic along with magnesium and other supplements and minerals and diet change. When I had my first dexa scan last year after I fractured and sprained my ankle, they saw I had slight osteopenia, from age and long covid didn't help either.
@A MyBCTeam Member I am waiting to get my Alendronate RX in the mail, started taking calcium supplements after I read my results last week. I already take D3. I am going to check out the D3/K2 combo!
