Nationwide Alert: Contaminated cold medication
The FDA has announced a voluntary Class II recall of Walgreens Saline Nasal Spray with Xylitol due to microbial contamination. Testing identified the presence of pseudomonas lactis in certain lots of the product, which poses potential health risks. Over 41,000 bottles are affected, distributed nationwide in the U.S. The recall was initiated by Medical Products Laboratories, Inc. on November 12, 2025, and remains ongoing.
